JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated Wills and Estates Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our firm, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance in matters related to wills, estate planning, probate, and administration. You will work closely with clients to ensure their wishes are documented and legally protected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Drafting wills, trusts, and other estate-planning documents
– Advising clients on estate administration and probate matters
– Providing legal guidance on succession planning
– Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations
– Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and concerns.
– Representing clients in legal proceedings related to wills and estates.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Admission as a lawyer in Queensland
– Demonstrated experience in Wills and Estates law.

– Experience in sale, purchase and development of property (including commercial, residential and strata title property) and agreements generally.
– Experience in preparation of retail and commercial leases, knowledge of RSLA, PPSA and other applicable legislation.
